Hearing Services

  • Diagnostic Hearing Tests

    Adults and school aged children $85

    This test includes thorough Otoscopy, Tympanometry, Speech Reception & Word Recognition testing, and Pure Tone and bone conduction testing to identify type and severity of hearing loss. Following the test, you’ll be walked through a full explanation of your results, and have access to a copy of the the audiogram (either digital or print).

  • Ear Wax Removal

    $45 per ear or $80 for both

    Wax removal will begin with thorough Otoscopy (and Tympanometry if needed). The Audiologist will then decide the best technique for cerumen management - Either manual removal with a lighted curette or by use of water irrigation as needed.

  • Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) Testing

    $200

    We don’t hear with our ears, we actually hear with our brain!

    This assessment includes a diagnostic hearing test as well as an investigation into how well you can process auditory information and hear in the presence of competing sounds.

    APD rehabilitation $150 - an optional one time subscription to an on-going home-based rehabilitation program.

Hearing Aid Evaluations + Fittings

  • Hearing Aids

    A detailed breakdown of price will be provided in person

    Depending on the results of your hearing test, our audiologist may recommend a hearing aid for one or both of your ears.

    During the hearing aid evaluation, you will be guided through the process of selecting a hearing aid option that best suits your hearing loss, your personal preferences, and your lifestyle. Our audiologist understands the complexities of this process and will take the time to listen to you and find a solution that is right for your unique situation. At Tidal, we believe in a multidisciplinary approach to health care and we prioritize patient education to ensure that you understand your hearing loss as well as the best ways to manage it.

    If your hearing loss requires medical attention, an ENT referral will be made.

Balance Services

  • Initial Vestibular Evaluation

    $225 - includes first treatment

    Adults and school aged children.

    This evaluation includes a thorough case history, a diagnostic hearing test, video head impulse testing with dynamic visual acuity, oculomotor assessments, positional testing for BPPV, and a variety of functional balance assessments.

  • Vestibular Follow up

    $85

    Vestibular treatment and rehabilitation

    Treatments inlcude BPPV repositioning and/or vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) as needed. For VRT - access to a personalized digital treatment program is included.

No doctor’s referral needed for any of our services

(But we’ll gladly send a copy of your results to your primary care team!)
